AGUK Joins York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce November 7th, 2006
We are pleased to announce our membership to the York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. By joining the YNYCC we hope to benefit new and existing customers.
The membership of YNYCC will allow us to meet new and existing businesses. This could lead to potential referals for many of our resellers as well as introduce us to potential new suppliers and partners.

Email Backup and Gateway System October 4th, 2006
Having reviewed customer feedback received and looked at our systems we have merged our mail server services in to one simple system. It has been labelled EBAGS or Email Backup and Gateway system.
EBAGS is a complete email backup and protection system. It provides virus and spam scanning of incoming mail as well as backup should your own mail server fail. Our own shared hosting email accounts are protected by EBAGS ensuring trouble free email usage. If you host your existing email accounts with us then you already have the benefits of our EBAGS.

AGUK Streamlines Products and Services July 25th, 2006
Having spent some time reviewing the products and services offered by AGUK the decision has been made to make these more streamlined and concentrate on improved customer service.
Previously AGUK offered a wide range of products and services designed to cater for many aspects of a customers needs. However the large number of services on offer meant there was less time to spend on our core principle - customer service. Becuase of this the products and services on offer have been streamlined to reflect those that are primary to the business, mainly internet hosting services such as internet software, email services, hosting services, domain registration.

Upcoming Server Relocation June 7th, 2006
It was just 7 months ago that we originally moved our set-up to Redbus Meridian Gate. This move has brought faster connectivity and a much greater network reliability.
However in recent weeks Redbus has been purchased by Telecity a major European data centre provider. Since the buyout service levels at Redbus have dropped. There has also been an price increase of over 400% on contract renewals. It is my personal belief that the aim is to quickly increase profitability ready for a floatation and possible sale providing a big return on investment in a short space of time.

AGUK Freephone Number April 5th, 2006
I am pleased to announce we have now provisioned a freephone number which can be used to contact us for both sales and support queries.
I want to ensure AGUK continues to provide first class customer support to our customers. This was the main driving point behind getting a freephone number.
By using VOIP technologies and careful consideration of suppliers the cost of providing the freephone service is vastly reduced from what it once was.

Domain Limits Removed On All Packages March 28th, 2006
After a successful trial and the positive response to the removal of domain limits on our reseller package we are pleased to announce this has been extended across all packages.
With immediate effect all of our packages no longer have any domain limits. This means you can add as many domains as you wish to your package within the limits of your other resources.
As per the reseller package we will continue to have disk space and bandwidth limits on packages with add-ons available to increase these at anytime. By maintaining disk space and bandwidth limits we can ensure control over our costs and continue to provide exceptional service.

Reseller Account Domain Limits Removed. March 23rd, 2006
AGUK is pleased to announce that with immediate effect all reseller packages no longer have any domain or FTP account limits. Our continual growth has enabled us to achieve greater economies of scale which in turn allows us to offer this kind of package.
It is important to point out that this is not a move to “unlimited hosting”. We firmly believe in ensuring our customers know what they are purchasing and as such we do not provide “unlimited” diskspace or bandwidth. While technology is advancing at a phenomenal rate so far nobody has yet invented the unlimited sized hard disk!

AGUK Provides Bounce Attack Prevention January 23rd, 2006
Further to our recent development project Bounce Attack Prevention we are now able to provide our customers the ability to reject incorrectly bounced mail.
The system does have some limitations but used correctly with white listing where appropriate can have a massive impact in reducing the number of false bounces customers may receive.
