In the coming weeks we will be altering the way we track customer bandwidth usage. We will start including FTP and Mail bandwidth usage within the reporting in Helm.

At the same time as including these additional bandwidth calculations we will also increase the bandwidth available to each package. We can do this because we have always calculated a slight overhead for these services within the package price. Therefore most customers will not be affected by this. However customers using a disproportionate amount of FTP and Mail bandwidth will likely see overages on bandwidth usage.

By including these services in the bandwidth calculations we can ensure that all customers are charged fairly for the bandwidth they use on their account.
